The 2022 Market Performance Wheel of apollon is out!
Lake House Meersburg, July 2022. TGOA publishes the new Market Performance Wheel for Online Media Net (OMN) from German vendor apollon.
The analyst house The Group of Analysts (TGOA) aims at delivering transparency in the software market through its unique assessment method called Market Performance Wheels (MPWs). The MPWs enable the market to better understand the digitalisation potentials the respective solutions provide. For this, the assessment tool sheds light on four strategic areas: ability to perform, market performance, future proof, and technology. In contrast to traditional analyst approaches, the goal is not to compare software on a feature level, but to distill the very essence of every player, thereby enabling companies to assess whether they fit strategically.
Now, TGOA has published another MPW, based on a thorough exchange with apollon. The German vendor offers Online Media Net (OMN) for automating the communication of product data and distributing data seamlessly and without media breaks into omnichannel commerce. The new MPW assesses its performance for the areas product information management (PIM), product experience management (PXM), and multi-domain master data management (MDM).
The PIM MPW of apollon gives a clear picture of the strengths of OMN – especially in the areas of customer performance, customer experience, and market understanding (22 out of 25 points in all three areas). The fact that apollon achieves a very solid 19 out of 25 points for both future proof and technology undermines the overall picture of a forward-thinking and adaptive software vendor. For instance, apollon shows a remarkable level of adaptation when it comes to innovative topics such as artificial intelligence, which is implemented in various areas of OMN to boost their customers’ processes.
“The results mirror our sustainable strategy and emphasize the effort of our team to dive into our customers’ unique requirements and turn them into a long-lasting roadmap for Online Media Net. This way, we enable companies to face any future challenge in omnichannel commerce,” says Norbert Weckerle, CEO of apollon.
And those challenges won’t become easier to handle, according to Temel, Chief Analyst and CEO of TGOA: “We observe disruptive changes and continuing innovation in all areas concerning digital commerce. PIM vendors must acknowledge their role in this whole new ballgame, do their homework, and prepare properly for upcoming needs.”
