New report: The global PIM market volume will reach USD 72.43 billion by 2031.
Meersburg, Germany, November 2024: The Group of Analysts (TGOA) forecasts that the global PIM market will grow at a CAGR of 20.12 per cent, reaching USD 72.43 billion by 2031. TGOA finds that the main drivers of this remarkable market growth are artificial intelligence, the widespread need for product data, increasing interest in business intelligence and analytics, rising demand for greater productivity, and reduced implementation barriers thanks to SaaS technology.
For the 2024 research report, the TGOA analysts evaluated sixty-five PIM software vendors, each of which is presented in detail with a dedicated profile. The assessment is based on the Market Performance Wheel developed by TGOA, which covers the strategic areas of ability to perform, market performance, future proof, and technology. The assessment identifies the following top performers: 4ALLPORTAL, apollon, ATAMYA, BAYARD, Bertsch Innovation, BetterCommerce, Contentserv, Informatica, insightsoftware, myview systems, Noxum, pirobase imperia, Precisely, prodexa, Sales Layer, Salsify, SAP Commerce Cloud, Stibo Systems, SyncForce Circular PIM, and Syndigo.
In addition, the analysts awarded fifteen best practices for the categories thought leadership, industry leadership, extended PIM, (generative) AI, and transparency. The top vendors are 1WorldSync, Propel, myview systems, SyncForce Circular PIM, Bertsch Innovation, BAYARD, Scayle, BetterCommerce, Pimberly, Roima Intelligence, Talkoot, Syndigo, Sales Layer, and Struct.
The vendors assessed by TGOA show a wide range of characteristics. They differ significantly in important core areas such as key performance indicators, reactions to new technologies, communication and marketing, as well as implementation and technology partner networks. The report also reveals increasing heterogeneity when it comes to the use case coverage of the PIM solutions. Consequently, they provide a mixed picture of the entire PIM software market.
“Today’s PIM market is remarkably heterogeneous, and it continues to diversify with the increasing number of use cases that product data is serving. This is why for this year’s Analyst Atlas, we decided to take the big picture,” says Temel Kahyaoglu, chief analyst and founder of TGOA.
With sixty-five total vendors, the 2024 Analyst Atlas of PIM has been an exceptionally big project. “When assessing a software market, it is crucial to have a personal exchange with as many vendors as possible,” says Carmela Melone, senior analyst at TGOA. “The more information we get, the more accurate our research results can be. We are happy to see increasing interest in sharing information with analysts – and our Atlas shows all the benefits of this growing openness!”
The report covers the following PIM vendors: 1WorldSync, 4ALLPORTAL, Acquia, Akeneo, Amplifi.io by Pattern, apollon, ATAMYA, AtroCore, BAYARD, Bertsch Innovation, BetterCommerce, Bluemeteor, Bluestone PIM, Catsy, censhare, Contentserv, eggheads, Entitys, Ergonode, Gepard, Goaland, Heavendata, Icecat, Image Relay, Informatica, inriver, insightsoftware, Jasper PIM, KatanaPIM, Kittelberger, Kontainer, Litium, Lobster, Lumavate, myview systems, novomind, Noxum, On Page, OneTimePIM, Pimberly, Pimcore, PIMICS, pimsimple, PIMworks, pirobase imperia, Plytix, Precisely, Prodexa, Propel, Quable, Rierino, Roima, Sales Layer, Salsify, SAP Commerce Cloud, Scayle, skyPIM, Stibo Systems, Struct, Surefront, SyncForce Circular PIM, Syndigo, Talkoot, Thron, and Viamedici.
